An AHF Panel (Active Harmonic Filter Panel) uses advanced IGBT-based active filter technology to inject counter harmonics and effectively cancel out non-linear currents generated by VFDs, UPS systems, SMPS gear, battery chargers, and other electronic loads. By doing so, it significantly reduces current and voltage Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) to within configured limits, thereby improving overall power quality. In addition to harmonic mitigation, the panel can also perform real-time power factor correction and phase imbalance compensation, making it a multi-functional solution for modern industrial and commercial electrical systems. The AHF Panel protects sensitive equipment from overheating, nuisance tripping, and premature failure caused by harmonic distortion while ensuring compliance with utility norms, IEEE-519 standards, and site-specific harmonic guidelines.
